SANCTIFICATION: Photos From Recording Sessions Posted Online

SANCTIFICATION, the Swedish death metal band featuring current/former members of GOD AMONG INSECTS, IN BATTLE and SOULDRAINER, entered Abyss studio in Sweden on July 7 with producers Tommy and Peter Tägtgren to begin recording its sophomore album for a fall release. The CD will be mixed by Peter and mastered by Dan Swanö. Guest musicians on the album include Secthdeamon (ZYKLON, MYRKSKOG),Masse (a.k.a. Emperor Magus Caligula; DARK FUNERAL).

Commented the group: "The music is done and Peter is at the moment working on the drum tracks and the guitars in his studio. At the same time we are recording the vocals in the other studio. Everything is going just fine and we hope to be done in a a few weeks."

SANCTIFICATION recently inked a deal with the Singapore-based label Pulverised Records.

The group's debut album, "Misanthropic Salvation", was released in 2003 through Remission Records.
